for sure one of the best things going on at the photolucida reviews are the roving reviews, where there is no time limit and specially you get to talk openly about your vision and work. one of my best encounters was with photographer robbie mcclaran, which also gave a nice lunch time chat about his work. it is not always the case that your peers honestly share their thoughts on work, but it felt for me that robbie and many of the people photolucida invited where doing so. check out his projects here. i specially like the ordinary people series. to me it somewhat parallels joel sternfelds work in this site.
