pablo cabado/ 37°57'35.35"S 57°34'49.34"W
another argentinian photographer which work i really like is pablo cabado. his images explore space and its connection to culture and people. this series, 37°57'35.35"S 57°34'49.34"W is particularly sublime and full of strangeness.
from his statement:
This portrait of a derelict amusement park in Argentina uncovers the lives that remain in the shards of collapsed rides and rusting colors. Pablo Cabado portraits here with his large format camera, the grim reality of mysterious people and animals living on the edge with a poetic eye, gently shedding light on varied life-forces gone awry. Captured here is what is left of entertainment abandoned over ten years ago.
