a little history about lost rivers

After traveling the 51 municipalities of the state of nuevo león gathering images for a publication called imagenes de nuestra memoria 3, in which they portrayed old pictures of these places, i was overwhelmed with the fiscal changes the state had gone through. how the urban sprawl had come to unite small villas around the metropolitan area of monterrey, the modernization of roads and for my latest project i´ve been observing and revisiting rivers, streams, balnearios and ojos de agua to see how our need for water in the urban world has affected them.

los sueños e intenciones de alejandro cartagena

i was interviewed by marvin magazine last month. here´s the publication on the may issue which theme is "migrantes"
